Senior Production Supervisor

In this position, the Senior Production Supervisor is a supervisory leadership role supported by on-the-job training, development, and opportunity for career progression. Senior Production Supervisors are:

Responsibilities include:

• Supervising, evaluating, and empowering a team that produces manufactured products, and organizing workflow to meet quality and daily productivity requirements
• Ensuring safety, quality, and productivity objectives are met through coaching standardized work, verifying lines are running safely, smoothly, and producing quality parts
• Driving to exceed personal/team/Company goals by holding self and team to high performance standards through servant leadership
• Building strong interpersonal relationships with hourly team members, union, and management teams
• Supporting peer team by training, coaching, and developing newly hired and promoted Supervisors
• Optimizing throughput in accordance with budgets and cost objectives

Qualifications include:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2+ years of supervisory and/or manufacturing experience
• Working knowledge in Microsoft: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Ability to work rotating shifts and hours

• Two-way communicator who actively listens to hourly team members, leaders, business partners, and customers

• Administer the CBA (collective bargaining agreement) consistently and effectively

• Bachelor's Degree
• Safety and quality experience
• Six Sigma: Black or Green Belt certified
• Knowledge of constraint management principles
• Prior experience managing a unionized workforce
• Strong mechanical background

This position is a salary grade 8 and ranges from $96,720-162,120.
