Tool Room Technician

Position Summary
As a Tool Room Technician your responsibilities will be to support Tool Room functions to meet production demands while maintaining safety, quality, and documentation requirements.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
What you will do as a Tool Room Technician
- Read and comprehend instructions, prints and drawings
- Assembles dies, fixtures, and punches
- Run machines such as surface grinders, manual vertical mills, and engine lathes
- Maintain proper conduct to promote and provide a safe working environment.
- Take measurements with micrometers, calipers, and venires
- Aid Maintenance Dept. with PM’s as required
- Aid Molding Dept. with PM’s and Mold Tooling as required
- Help with design of molds and fixtures
- Troubleshoots and problem solves applicable equipment and fixtures
- Other duties as required by management
The Experience, Skills and Abilities
Required:
- High school graduate/GED
- 2 Years in a vocational school a plus
- Minimum 5 years hands on machining experience
Other:
- CNC experience recommended but not required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions and
- safety rules.
- Ability to understand oral and written instruction in English.
- Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instruction.
- Know decimal equivalent of fractions and able to use a calculator
- Mechanical aptitude and competence with hand tools are required as well
- as a basic understanding of electricity and hydraulics.

Pay range for this opportunity is $19.11 - $24.73. [ACTION REQUIRED - REMOVE IF NOT APPLICABLE:] This position is eligible for bonus participation.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
