Integrated Talent Strategies (ITS) is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for a client in the Dayton, OH area. You’ll join the 2nd or 3rd shift team that keeps manufacturing equipment running safely, smoothly, and efficiently. Picture your day: you start by reviewing the preventive maintenance (PM) plan with the Maintenance Manager, move through scheduled PM checks, and jump into troubleshooting when a machine needs immediate attention. You’ll advise on parts to order, help track inventory, and support equipment installs as new projects roll out. Along the way, you’ll maintain air compressors and their system components, and occasionally put welding/fabrication skills to use.

What You’ll Do

• Execute preventive maintenance routines and complete documentation.
• Perform corrective maintenance to minimize downtime and restore equipment.
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Manager on PM schedules and daily shift priorities.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems and assemblies.
• Recommend purchases and assist with spare parts inventory control.
• Assist with equipment installations and commissioning activities.
• Service and maintain air compressors and compressed air distribution components.
• Apply welding/fabrication skills as needed (a plus).

About You

• Strong mechanical aptitude with a track record of solving mechanical issues.
• Effective mechanical troubleshooting ability; comfortable diagnosing root causes.
• Professional certifications (HVAC, electrical, etc.) preferred.

Education & Experience

• High school diploma required.
• 6+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment.

Proficiencies

• Mechanical troubleshooting
• Journeyman’s License
• Electrical troubleshooting
• Industrial electrical experience

Shifts, Pay & Benefits

• Shifts: 2nd and 3rd.
• Compensation: $39–$41/hour, depending on experience.
