The Senior Data Analyst will lead the Analytics team, ensuring priorities are delivered while consistent progress towards advancements is made. Other essential skills required for this position:

  • Proactively acquire and maintain a deep understanding of all systems and data sources in use by the QSR division and distribute this knowledge to the analytics team.
  • Proactively identify and research opportunities for improvements in the team’s processes. Present suggested alternatives to the team and implement such that a single optimized standard is maintained across all clients.
  • Research and identify opportunities for the applicable use of AI to optimize and automate analyses.
  • Maintain “big picture” approach – when related but disparate activities are happening in the company, communicate and attempt to align/standardize whenever possible.
  • Execute all work with high standards for consistency, accuracy, and simplicity. Document work thoroughly.
  • Create, deploy, and maintain internal and customer facing dashboards and their corresponding data sources while documenting work.
  • Support and lead Tableau Server maintenance, monitoring, and general upkeep.
  • Perform team leadership responsibilities and plan for the future
  • Lead team meetings to gather reporting requirements. Participate and present in internal team meetings – discuss priorities and planned work, design and validation reviews, and brainstorming sessions.
  • Conduct efficient research on internal systems to maintain up to date understanding
  • Support ad hoc requests in support of immediate business needs.
  • Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in technical engineering, computer science, business management, or similar, or equivalent experience required.
  • 7+ years experience
  • Hands on experience with the use of AI in the context of data analysis.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent customer service and people leadership skills required.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and plan work while aligning with project deadlines and changes to priorities.
  • Proficiency with Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and SQL required.
  • Ability to research independently and proactively and effectively teach fellow team members.
  • Deep commitment to consistency, accuracy, and simplicity.
