Product Manager
Akkodis is seeking a Product Manager for a Contract with a client in Medina, OH. Candidates must have deep experience in Agile product management to drive roadmaps, manage backlogs, and oversee platform transformation.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Product Manager job responsibilities include:
Define and drive the product vision, roadmap, and outcomes for platform modernization and large‑scale enterprise products.
Lead Agile delivery—own backlog management, prioritization, sprint planning, and outcome tracking with clear KPIs/OKRs.
Partner with architects to execute a cloud‑native, microservices strategy (.NET, Blazor/MudBlazor, Kubernetes, MariaDB, RabbitMQ) with API‑first and event‑driven design.
Ensure operational readiness by owning NFRs (performance, availability, scalability), observability, and DR/BCP planning.
Align stakeholders across business, product, and engineering; communicate trade‑offs and decisions clearly to executives and onsite client partners.
Translate market and user insights into validated requirements and release plans; de‑risk delivery through iterative discovery and data‑driven prioritization.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
8–12+ years of Product Management experience leading large‑scale enterprise platforms or modernization initiatives.
Proven expertise in Agile product delivery, including roadmapping, backlog management, outcome tracking, and cross‑functional coordination.
Working knowledge of cloud‑native architectures, including .NET microservices, Kubernetes, MariaDB, and experience ensuring NFRs, DR/BCP readiness, and production‑grade system reliability.
