Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, OH 44195 (Ohio healthcare jobs)
• Facility: Main Campus Hospital – HVTI-Stepdown Float Pool
• Assignment Length: Up to 18 weeks (confirm preferred contract duration at submission)
• Start Date: September 5, 2025
• End Date: January 9, 2026
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am; typically 2 weeks days, 2 weeks nights as needed)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2250–$2310 per week
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (locum tenens)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 18 months of recent, permanent Cardiac Stepdown RN experience (travel nursing experience accepted)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or Compact State (must be in hand at submission)
• Current American Heart Association BLS & ACLS certifications (active, not pending)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• One supervisory reference in Cardiac Stepdown specialty (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director)
• Successful completion of ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Ability to work at least every other holiday as scheduled

Travel RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to cardiac stepdown patients in the float pool
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in cardiac patient conditions
• Administer medications, treatments, and cardiac interventions as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Accurately document patient care in accordance with hospital and healthcare policies
• Float to various stepdown units as needed to support hospital operations
• Participate in required orientation, ongoing training, and continuing education modules
