Responsibilities

• Oversee the intake process for reports of child abuse or neglect, ensuring timely and accurate assessment of each case
• Supervise a team of investigators and caseworkers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to promote excellence in service delivery
• Develop and implement program strategies that enhance investigation procedures and support services for children with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs
• Manage relationships with community agencies, law enforcement, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive child protection efforts
• Monitor case progress, ensuring compliance with policies, legal requirements, and best practices while maintaining detailed documentation
• Lead staff meetings, training sessions, and quality improvement initiatives to foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment

Requirements

• Two years experience as a Children Services worker
• Knowledge of child protection laws, investigation procedures, and social work principles
• Bachelor's Degree in related field
