Location: Toledo, OH 43615
Picture your morning: you load up a well-maintained company vehicle, review the day’s drawings, and head out to a new site. Your travel time is paid, your per diem is set (with full details shared during the interview), and every mile, hotel, and toll is covered. By midday, you’re laying down precise welds, collaborating with a tight-knit crew, and ensuring every bead meets spec and safety standards.
What you’ll do
- Execute on-site welding at multiple regional project locations.
- Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to produce accurate, code-compliant welds.
- Adhere to and promote all applicable safety practices and regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on welding gear and related tools.
- Coordinate with project managers and teammates to hit milestones and deadlines.
- Document completed work and keep precise records of materials and consumables used.
- Coach and support junior welders when needed.
What you’ll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding certifications preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in welding, with strong proficiency in MIG and Stick processes.
- Solid grasp of welding techniques, codes, and safety protocols.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and blueprints.
- Sharp problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail.
- Comfort traveling frequently and working across varied environments.
- Clear communication and collaborative team mindset.
