Remote AI-Native Enterprise Architect

Job Description

Duration: Estimated 300 hours (30 days full-time + 60 days part-time)

We are seeking an experienced AI-Native Enterprise Architect with a proven track record in large-scale SaaS

environments to design the next-generation architecture for our 2030 enterprise vision. The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise with strategic foresight to create an Agentic AI-Native, multi-modal, voice-enabled system design that is loosely coupled, modular, and ready to pivot as market conditions and business requirements evolve.

This role requires the ability to analyze the current architecture quickly, understand executive workflows and end-user behaviors (including those of Financial Advisors and Wealth Management professionals), and deliver a future-ready architecture that prioritizes scalability, security, cost efficiency, and adoption.

• Rapidly analyze and document the current enterprise architecture, identifying gaps and opportunities for

modernization.

• Understand executive workflows and end-user behaviors to ensure the future architecture aligns with real-world

needs.

• Design a future-state AI-Native architecture, incorporating:

• Agentic AI capabilities for autonomous task execution

• Multi-modal interfaces (voice, text, visual) for seamless interaction

• Scalable frameworks for 500K clients and 2,000 Financial Advisors

• Justify and rationalize every architectural decision, including assumptions and intended outcomes.

• Challenge all discussions with AI-native thinking, ensuring the design leverages emerging technologies and best

practices.

• Prioritize open-source, cost-effective solutions without compromising security or performance.

• Collaborate with technology leaders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and compliance standards.

Skills and Requirements

• Enterprise Architecture & System Design for large-scale financial platforms

• AI/ML Integration: Agentic AI, LLM orchestration, multi-modal interfaces

• Data Security & Compliance: Encryption, RBAC, SOC2, GDPR, FINRA standards

• Scalability & Performance Engineering: Designing for millions of transactions and concurrent users

• Cloud-Native Architecture: AWS, Azure, or GCP with containerization (Kubernetes, Docker)

• Open-Source Technologies: Familiarity with cost-effective frameworks and tools

• API & Microservices Design for modularity and interoperability

• End-User Adoption Strategies: UX principles for financial advisors and clients - Proven experience delivering highly scalable systems for large financial institutions or wealth advisory firms

• Strong understanding of voice-enabled and multi-modal AI systems

• Ability to produce clear documentation and architecture diagrams for executives and technical teams

• Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and orchestration tools
