What you’ll be doing

1. Oversee the day-to-day operations on the food truck.
2. Plan for daily operations.
3. Maintain required records, inventory, and income/expense.
4. Ensure food truck staff members follow proper sanitation procedures.
5. Ensure safety standards are maintained while food is being served.
6. Respond to customer preferences and complaints.
7. Maintain equipment including refrigerator, and prep table and cookware.
8. Ensure customer dining experience is satisfactory.
9. Expedite food.
10. Hire and train employees.
11. Deliver orders to appropriate customers.
12. Direct the cleaning of the truck and commercial kitchen.
13. Social Media posts/ responding.
14. Booking events for the food truck.
15. Apply and maintain all required permits for the food truck.

Skills you’ll bring along

1. Minimum of 1 year of experience in the culinary field or kitchen experience.
2. Understanding food safety and sanitation. ServSafe Certification a plus.
3. Proven ability and desire to provide an exceptional level of service to customers

8. Proven experience with determining food and labor costs and maintaining

10. Working knowledge of various computer software programs (MS Office, MS Excel)

Pay: $17.00 plus Tips

Job Type

1. 20 Hours per week
2. Monday-Saturday
3. No Sunday
4. Must be able to work standing for long periods of time
5. Work rotating schedules including some evenings, weekends and holidays
6. Ability to lift 50+ pounds
