Bartender
Bartender - Findlay Country Club
Position Summary:We are seeking a friendly, professional, and experienced Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team at our private Country Club. The Bartender is responsible for providing exceptional service to members and guests by preparing and serving beverages in a welcoming, polished, and efficient manner. This position plays an important role in creating a positive dining and social experience while upholding the standards of the Club.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and Club standards
Provide attentive, professional service to members and guests. - Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar area.
- Verify guest age requirements in accordance with state liquor laws.
- Process orders accurately and handle member charges or payments properly.
- Engage with members in a courteous and personable way, fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and promote responsible service.
- Assist with bar setup and breakdown for events, banquets, and special functions.
- Restock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, and supplies as needed. Follow all sanitation, safety, and health regulations.
Qualifications:
- Previous bartending experience preferred (country club, restaurant, or hospitality environment a plus).
- Knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and team-oriented.
- TIPS or alcohol service certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Work Schedule:
- Part-time and/or Full-time opportunities available.
- Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.
- Flexible scheduling based on club events and member needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 30 lbs.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and movement behind the bar.
