Job Opportunity – General Diagnostic Radiologist – Ohio

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1-2 weeks per month. Flexible shift options: 7:00am-4:00pm, 7:30am-4:30pm, 8:00am-5:00pm, or 8:30am-5:30pm. 8 hours of clinical work per day with 30-60 minute lunch break. No overtime required.

Highlights:

• Volume of approximately 60-100 cases per day with a balanced mix of inpatient, outpatient, and STAT studies
• Focus on cross-sectional imaging with approximately 50% of daily workload dedicated to CT and ultrasound
• Option to perform light procedures including CT/US-guided biopsies, abscess drainages, chest tubes, and thyroid FNAs (2-5 minor procedures daily)
• Modern technology suite including AGFA PACS, PowerScribe 360 voice recognition, and Epic EMR
• Structured workflow model reading old-to-new to ensure fair case distribution
• Target productivity of approximately 7 wRVU per hour based on daily assignment

Requirements:

• Board certification with the American Board of Radiology required
• Active Ohio medical license or IMLC eligibility with letter of qualification in hand
• Minimum 2 years of experience in diagnostic radiology
• Required modalities: general CT (including unenhanced head and C-spine/Level II trauma), ultrasound (including first trimester), and X-ray
• NPDB self-query required (completed within the last 6 months)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required if performing procedures (American Heart Association)
• Fellowship training in subspecialty areas preferred but not required
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred
• No mammography, neuroradiology subspecialty work (MRI/spine/stroke), nuclear medicine, or MSK MRI required (unless fellowship trained)
