We are seeking a Senior Engineer with natural gas utility experience to support our client’s capital projects across a Midwest district. This role requires independent problem-solving, technical leadership, and expertise in gas system design.

Hybrid | Cincinnati, OH
Full-Time | 12-Month Contract (W2)
Pay: $65–$73/hour
Travel: Approximately 1 day/week to regional project sites

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as District Engineer for one Midwest region
• Design meter sets, gas services, and stations
• Oversee engineering for capital asset installations
• Review and support work from non-engineering teams
• Identify issues, develop solutions, and drive resolution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (ABET accredited) or Master’s degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of natural gas engineering experience, or 5+ years with Professional Engineer (PE) license
• Solid experience in gas distribution/transmission design
• Disciplines: Civil (structural preferred), Mechanical, Petroleum, or related

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of CFR 192 and ANSI, ASTM, API standards
• Utility industry experience
• Solid project management and analytical skills
• Ability to evaluate design alternatives and present recommendations
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Work Environment: Hybrid role (after onboarding period) based in Downtown Cincinnati, OH. Must live within commuting distance.
