Forklift operator
Mancan Temporary Staffing Employment Agency is working with a Local Nashport area company in search of reliable Forklift Operators for a long term
Hours -7am - 3pm Monday - Friday Pay rate - 15.05 hour - temp to hire Job Duties:Abide by all safety regulations to ensure safety of oneself, coworkers and customers
Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders, pulling materials, packing boxes, and placing orders in delivery area.
Re-package feed products as required
Complete reports by entering in required information
Off-load delivery trucks
Utilize a forklift safely to warehouse products into the correct bin locations in order to increase efficiency and inventory Assist in the inventory process, conduct an accurate and timely count of stock levels, relay information to appropriate supervisor, ensure fast moving products are always in stock Contribute to good "housekeeping" practices in warehouse area, truck and other areas as assigned Other duties as assigned by your supervisor REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 50 pounds
Willingness to work extended hours and weekends when needed
Willingness to work various weather elements including cold, heat, wind, rain, etc.
Outstanding Organizational and Time-Management Skills
Excellent Communication Skills PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Driver’s License, with acceptable driving record
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Previous Forklift Experience PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Ability to frequently stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to frequently sit for extended periods of time
- Ability to frequently lift and/or carry heavy objects no more than 75 pounds
- Occasionally required to crawl, stoop, kneel, climb, or balance
