In Office HR Assistant
We are seeking a detail-oriented HR Assistant to support Human Resources operations and the Agency Director at our Sandy, Oregon office. This is an in-person position only and is not eligible for remote work. The ideal candidate will bring experience in QuickBooks Online, bookkeeping, and HR processes, with proven ability to support a workforce of 50+ employees. Candidates with experience in developing and maintaining employee handbooks are strongly preferred.

- Assist Human Resources with onboarding, offboarding, compliance tracking, and record maintenance.
- Support the administration of benefits including Paid Leave Oregon, health insurance, PTO, and retirement plans.
- Provide payroll support and maintain accurate bookkeeping using QuickBooks Online.
- Assist in the creation and updating of employee handbooks and HR policies.
- Monitor leave administration under FMLA, OFLA, and PLO and ensure accurate recordkeeping.
- Prepare HR documentation, reporting, and filings as directed by Human Resources and the Agency Director.
- Assist with audits, compliance checks, and required documentation within deadlines.
- Track HR policies and procedures to ensure agency-wide consistency and accuracy.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of HR support, payroll, or bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with Oregon leave programs (PLO, OFLA, FMLA).
- Experience supporting a workforce of 50+ employees.
- Experience creating or maintaining employee handbooks.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to in-person attendance at the Sandy office.
