Job Title: Assembler / Material Handler

Job Description

We are seeking skilled Assemblers for a dynamic role based in Blue Ash, OH. This position offers a full-time schedule on the first shift, with hours from Monday to Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm. Initially a 3-month contract-to-hire role, this opportunity is perfect for candidates looking to showcase their expertise and grow within the company. You will be cross-trained in Assembly and Material Handling.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to update the inventory system accurately.
• Utilize staged materials to assemble valves and equipment.
• Identify and report any defective items.
• Fulfill orders as required.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in assembly and use of hand and power tools.
• Experience with RF scanners and scan guns.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
• Basic computer knowledge and math skills.
• 1+ years of material handling and assembly experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Openness to learning forklift operation.

Work Environment

Work in a structured assembly line environment utilizing hand and power tools. The role requires adherence to safety standards and offers a collaborative atmosphere. Dress code is casual, suitable for a production setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
