General Concrete Laborer
Overview
We are seeking a general laborer for concrete project. This role requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and ability to follow instructions and learn on the job.
As a general laborer, you will be responsible for performing assigned work tasks that contribute to the completion of the concrete project. This includes tasks to prepare a job site, remove previous materials, and pour and finish concrete to specifications.
Duties
- perform general labor tasks as assigned.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks as required by the project.
- Operate hand tools and power tools as assigned
- Ensure job site cleanliness and safety standards are upheld.
- Communicate effectively with team members, subcontractors, and project managers.
Experience
- Construction experience
- Concrete experience is a plus
- Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail for successful completion of projects and for the safety of those around you
- Experience in performing heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
- Ability to efficiently and safely pull equipment trailers is optional, but beneficial
- Ability to operate heavy equipment is optional, but beneficial (mini excavator, bobcat, etc)
Starting pay is variable based upon experience and skills. Valid driver's license is required. Work is performed in Findlay and surrounding areas. All necessary tools and equipment are provided. Daily work hours are variable based upon project needs and weather. There may be occasional possibility of overtime.
