Travel Policy: All Travelers will be expected/required to float to units within their scope of practice and skill set. Should a traveler refuse to float, Lima reserves the right to send the traveler home without pay for the entire work week.

Functioning within the Health System's mission, vision, values, policies, and procedures, the Registered Nurse assumes responsibility and accountability for the care of assigned patients on his/her shift. RN responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care using age-specific criteria. Judgments are made based on scientific knowledge and clinical skills. The RN also assists in planning, directing, and teaching non-RN staff such as LPN/PCT and Unit Secretaries. Must demonstrate flexibility with work schedule changes.

• 2+ years of OB Experience- Required
• Must have completed 1 Travel Assignment - Required
• Must be able to function as a 1st assist and Scrub OB - Required
• BLS (AHA) - Required
• ACLS (AHA) OR ALSO Certification - Required
• NRP - Required
• STABLE Certification - Required
• Fetal Monitoring Certification - Required
• BLS Cert Can pend - all others must be active at the time of submission.
