About the Role:

As a Respiratory Therapist at Warren Nursing & Rehab, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in our skilled nursing facility. Your duties will include:

• Conducting respiratory therapy treatments, such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and breathing exercises

• Monitoring patients' vital signs and assessing their respiratory status

• Developing and implementing individualized respiratory care plans

• Collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for our patients

• Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy treatments to patients with chronic respiratory conditions, such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and asthma

• Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and spirometry to diagnose and monitor respiratory conditions

• Participate in rounds and interdisciplinary team conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress

• Provide education and training to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management
