Painter
Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Painter to join our team in North Canton, OH. If you have a passion for transforming spaces and a keen eye for color and detail, this is the perfect opportunity for you! In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces, ensuring a high-quality finish that meets our clients' expectations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as needed.
- Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades and finishes.
- Apply paint, stain, and coatings using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including tools and equipment.
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements.
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a painter (2+ years) or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of painting techniques, tools, and materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform painting tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in painting is a plus.
