Travel Registered Nurse L&D Job
- Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients, monitor fetal status, optimize labor progress, manage pain and comfort, assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia teams, administer medications, perform postpartum assessments, identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, support lactation and newborn care, educate families about care plans and discharge readiness, and maintain meticulous documentation across shifting care teams. Collaborate closely with obstetricians, midwives, neonatology, and support staff to ensure seamless transitions of care and maintain patient safety at all times. Uphold infection control standards and advocate for patient-centered, culturally competent care that respects diverse birth experiences.

Start Date, Duration, and Scheduling: The assignment begins on 03/03/2026, with a multi-week term designed to accommodate staffing needs and personal preferences. Weekly hours, while not guaranteed, are structured to provide meaningful shifts and sustainable workloads across varied facilities. The exact rotation, shift lengths, and facility assignments will be finalized during the hiring process. Please note: guaranteed hours are listed as 0.0, reflecting the travel-based model where hours may vary by assignment and facility demand.
