- Key responsibilities: Provide comprehensive nursing care for laboring and postpartum patients, monitor fetal status, optimize labor progress, manage pain and comfort, assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries in collaboration with the surgical and anesthesia teams, administer medications, perform postpartum assessments, identify and respond to obstetric emergencies, support lactation and newborn care, educate families about care plans and discharge readiness, and maintain meticulous documentation across shifting care teams.
