Position Overview
As a Shift Supervisor , you’ll partner with the General Manager to lead, motivate, and mentor our team. Your role is critical in creating a welcoming environment and ensuring Mavuno is regarded as the #1 dispensary in the market. The Shift Supervisor must have good communication and interpersonal skills, strong leadership and motivational skills, effective conflict resolution skills, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and support retail operations and ongoing staff training and development alongside the General Manager and Assistant General Manager.
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service and driving daily sales goals.
• Manage administrative tasks, i.e., POS reporting, balancing cash registers, and cash handling.
• Ensure compliance with all state cannabis regulations and company SOPs.
• Assist with inventory management, marketing, and employee recognition initiatives.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures and basic supervision of staff and retail operations.
• Share product knowledge with customers and model exceptional customer service and retail operations expertise.
• Promote a positive and collaborative work environment on the sales floor amongst all team members.
• Participate in professional development and encourage other team members to do so.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ and authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to obtain required state licensure.
• High school diploma or GED required; education and/or training beyond high school preferred.
• Proper employment documentation and valid driver’s license or state ID.
• Previous retail, hospitality, or sales experience with a focus on customer service.
• Prior supervisory and key/alarm-holder experience preferred.
• Cannabis industry experience strongly preferred.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office operations and POS systems.
• Detail-oriented and ability to be adaptable and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical requirements: ability to lift 15 lbs. and stand for extended periods.

Pay: $18.90/hour
Schedule: Full-time, up to 40 hours per week
