The 4200 Complex Cardiovascular Unit cares for patients recovering from surgeries, amputations, lung operations, heart attacks, and other critical conditions. As an RN Resident, you will assist in delivering exceptional care, interact directly with patients and families, and have access to professional development resources including education and courses.

Work Schedule: Days from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Participate in a residency curriculum tailored to learning needs.
• Provide direct nursing care with support from a success coach.
• Prioritize patient care based on acuity, preferences, and resources.
• Respond to data indicating patient risks and take corrective actions.
• Seek supervision and assistance when needed.
• Document in patients medical records.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• BLS certification through AHA.
• New graduate or less than 1 year of RN experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Physical Requirements

• Full body motion, handling/lifting patients, manual dexterity, coordination.
• Standing and walking for extended periods.
• Corrected vision and hearing.
• Ability to work under stress and irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable diseases/body fluids.
• Medium work capacity (20-50 lbs occasionally).

Personal Protective Equipment

• Use PPE as required for procedures.
