General Manager - Retail (Akron)
At The Wellsville Group, we believe great stores are built by great leaders. As a General Manager in our Akron market, you are the heartbeat of your showroom—setting the tone, driving performance, and creating an environment where both guests and team members thrive.
This role is ideal for a leader who loves being on the sales floor, developing people, and building a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, trust, and fun. You’ll oversee one of our Ashley showrooms in the Akron area, leading a team of Home Furnishing Consultants and store leadership to deliver strong sales results and a true 5-star customer experience.

- Creates clarity around expectations, performance, and company initiatives
- Holds themselves and others accountable while fostering a positive, supportive culture
You understand that results come from people—and you’re passionate about helping others grow, succeed, and perform at a high level.
Why This Role Matters
As the General Manager, you are the captain of the ship. Your leadership directly impacts sales performance, team engagement, and the overall success of the showroom. You play a critical role in:
- Driving top-line performance and operational excellence
