About the Position
Job Title: Med/Surg Tele RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Med/Surg/Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel assignments. License: Permanent license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Must also have 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Telemetry experience; travel experience will suffice. Description: Caring for patients on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit. Potential to float to other units to care for the same patient population. Three 12-hour night shifts required. Must work at least every other holiday. ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be completed during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is required for continued employment. Active certifications with nothing pending are required. Reference from a manager or supervisor in the specialty applying for is required. Candidates will need to pick up their badge and complete onsite fingerprints prior to the start date. Compliance with health and safety requirements is mandatory. Candidates must complete all required modules before beginning. Nurses must adhere to a strict policy regarding nicotine use.
