We are seeking a Payroll Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in data entry, journal entries, payroll calculations and payroll reports. Experience with Quickbooks is a plus. Position will also handle all administrative duties such as answering phone, scheduling appointments, greeting clients.

Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees on a weekly basis for several companies
- Maintain accurate records of employee hours worked, vacation time, and sick leave
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations related to payroll taxes
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies
- Process employee benefits enrollment and changes
- Assist with general ledger reconciliation and journal entries
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable as needed

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in payroll or accounting role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and QuickBooks (not required but a Plus)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
