Travel Radiology MRI Tech Job
Seize the opportunity to elevate your MRI expertise as a Travel MRI Technologist within Radiology, delivering critical imaging support where skilled hands and compassionate care make the difference for patients and families. This role places you in Zanesville, Ohio, with the chance to contribute your precision, efficiency, and patient-centered communication to high-performing teams. You’ll start on March 16, 2026, for a weeks-long contract that guarantees 36 hours per week, backed by a competitive weekly pay range of $2,382 to $2,563. As you scan, position, and optimize sequences, you’ll help clinicians arrive at accurate diagnoses while developing your leadership and technical skills in a dynamic travel setting. Beyond the lab and scanner room, Ohio offers a tapestry of beauty and inspiration—from the gentle foothills and scenic river towns to state parks and vibrant local culture—providing enriching weekend adventures and a deeper connection to the communities you serve. This is more than a job; it’s a career-enhancing journey that combines clinical impact with personal growth and new horizons. Location Benefits
Zanesville stands as a welcoming hub along Ohio’s storied landscape, offering a stable base with easy access to the state’s diverse experiences. Working in this region means enjoying a family-friendly environment, manageable commutes, and a supportive medical community that values teamwork and patient safety. As a traveling MRI Tech, you also gain the opportunity to work across multiple facilities and locations within the United States, broadening your professional network and exposing you to a wide range of scanner platforms, protocol suites, and patient populations. You’ll benefit from housing assistance and the option to extend assignments, allowing you to immerse yourself in new communities while maintaining a dependable schedule. In your downtime, Ohio’s outdoors—whether exploring the rolling terrain, venturing into nearby forests, or discovering seasonal festivals in nearby cities—offers rewarding escapes that recharge you for the next clinical challenge. This program is designed to maximize your professional exposure while supporting a balanced, fulfilling way to experience life on the road. Role Specifics and Benefits
As an MRI Technologist in Radiology, your core responsibilities will include operating MRI scanners (covering routine and advanced sequences), preparing patients, performing safety screenings, and ensuring optimal image quality. You’ll position patients, choose acquisition protocols, monitor real-time imaging, and collaborate closely with radiologists to verify diagnostic accuracy. You’ll execute QA checks, maintain equipment integrity, manage contrast administration within established protocols, and uphold strict infection control standards. Your role also encompasses patient education, de-escalation of anxieties during procedures, and accurate documentation of imaging and protocol adjustments. This position offers substantial professional growth: opportunities to deepen expertise in advanced MRI techniques, contribute to reliability initiatives, and expand your scope through cross-training in related modalities. The program emphasizes a culture of mentorship, feedback, and continuous learning to advance your career within the MRI specialty. Compensation and Support are central to this experience: you’ll receive weekly pay between $2,382 and $2,563 for a 36-hour week, with guaranteed hours to help you plan confidently. A completion or performance bonus is available, along with housing assistance to ease relocation or travel logistics. Extension opportunities allow you to maintain momentum and build tenure within the network of facilities you’ll serve. Comprehensive support runs 24/7 while traveling with the company, ensuring you have dependable access to clinical leadership, credentialing guidance, and operational assistance whenever you need it. You’ll be joining a program that values safety, efficiency, and patient comfort, with a strong emphasis on standardization of imaging quality and adherence to best practices across the spectrum of MRI protocols.
