Cloud Engineer
Job Title: Cloud Engineer Google Cloud Platform (Java Applications)
Location: Minneapolis, MN (On Site)
Duration: 6 months
Job Description:
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer with strong experience in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and hands-on expertise in deploying Java-based applications in the cloud. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and platform teams to deploy, manage, and optimize cloud-based Java applications.
Responsibilities:- Deploy, configure, and manage Java applications on Google Cloud Platform
- Work with Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Run, App Engine, and Cloud SQL
- Support application build, release, and deployment activities
- Troubleshoot cloud and application-related issues
- Ensure application scalability, performance, and security
- Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams
- Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Hands-on experience deploying Java applications in cloud environments
- Understanding of cloud networking, security, and monitoring
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines
- Familiarity with containers (Docker, Kubernetes preferred)
- Google Cloud Platform certifications
- Experience with microservices and Spring Boot
- Knowledge of Terraform or other IaC tools
