Public Health Nurse

PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE

The Morrow County Health District is seeking a public health nurse to serve as a communicable disease nurse, the Public Health Emergency Preparedness (PHEP) point of contact, and will serve as the clinic nurse for the agency. This RN/LPN will be responsible for the surveillance, investigation, and follow-up for reportable diseases throughout Morrow County. This nurse will complete deliverable activities for the PHEP grant and will lead the Morrow County Healthcare Coalition. This nurse will administer childhood, adolescent, and adult vaccinations according to Federal and State recommendations, while completing all deliverables for our Get Vaccinated Ohio (GVO) grant. This nurse will also conduct foster care screenings and will assist as support staff/health professional within our Woman, Infant, and Child (WIC) Clinic.

Qualifications : Applicant must have a current Ohio nursing license, as well as a current Ohio driver’s license and auto insurance.

Salary: RN starting pay is $21.50 per hour and LPN starting pay is $19.50 per hour, which may be adjusted commensurate with experience. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with 38 hours per week, Monday – Thursday.
