Construction Manager Mid (Transmission and Substation)
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement project execution plans, aligning with service agreements and site conditions.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Oversee site preparation, construction, and final commissioning.
- Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments.
- Implement corrective actions to address safety or quality issues.
- Manage project budgets and track expenses.
- Oversee purchase orders, change orders, and invoices.
- Forecast and report on project profitability.
- Liaise with clients, local authorities, and community stakeholders.
- Manage project communications and address inquiries promptly.
- Report project progress, risks, and issues to senior management.
Skills:
- Experience with a computer, candidates should be able to navigate software platforms with ease. Familiarity with email, text, various MS Office products such as Teams.
- Must be able to be taught our internal project tracking platforms specifically uPPM
- Experience with Distribution, Transmission and Substation
Education/Experience:
- BS degree preferred
- High school required.
