Physical Therapy Assistant
- Collaborate and Treat : Work under the direction of our Physical Therapist to implement and adjust patient treatment plans, providing quality care and support.
- Document and Monitor Progress : Accurately record daily treatment notes and weekly progress reports, ensuring that all documentation aligns with PT board standards.
- Teamwork : Participate in regular Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences to stay aligned with patient goals and treatment plans.
- Facility Support : Assist in maintaining a clean and safe treatment area, ensuring that all equipment is in top working condition.
- Family and Staff Education : Provide training and support to families and nursing staff, preparing patients for a smooth transition as they discharge from therapy.
- Continuous Learning : Participate in ongoing in-service training programs, keeping your skills sharp and knowledge up to date.
- Education/Experience : You must be a Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant, with a passion for helping patients achieve their highest potential. Experience using programs like NetHealth and Point Click Care is a plus.
- Communication Skills : You'll need to effectively communicate with patients, families, and team members, providing clear information and responding to questions confidently.
- Problem-Solving : The ability to think critically and find solutions to challenges that arise during patient care.
- Physical Demands : While the role involves frequent standing, walking, and occasional heavy lifting, we ensure that reasonable accommodations are available to support all our team members.
