Interior Design Procurement Specialist

Desired Designs, a client-focused interior design studio, is seeking a diligent Procurement Specialist to join our team. This role is pivotal in establishing and nurturing relationships with vendors and shipping companies, ensuring a seamless procurement, delivery, and installation process. If you have a knack for organization, attention to detail, and proficiency in QuickBooks, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities :

• Procuring furniture, accessories, rugs, and samples for projects (Generating purchase orders based on designers' specifications).
• Tracking packages and orders to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintaining and updating the Status Sheet weekly to monitor project progress.
• Coordinating deliveries to project sites and scheduling installations.
• Collaborating with the receiving team to manage items upon arrival.
• Managing returns for damaged or defective items.
• Updating QuickBooks with procurement and financial data.
• Handling monthly invoicing using QuickBooks.
• Tracking time and expenses for projects in QuickBooks.

Requirements :

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree in Business or Finance is preferred.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks for managing procurement, invoicing, and financial transactions.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities, with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Additional Information:

This is a hybrid/remote position with flexible hours, requiring 15-20 hours per week.

Compensation is negotiable based on experience and skillset.
