The Opportunity

Judge Direct Placement is partnering with a leading Food Manufacturing organization in the Greater Cincinnati, OH area to secure a dedicated Quality Supervisor for their off-shift operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging leader with a strong foundational knowledge of Quality Assurance to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate must be open to working 2nd or 3rd shift .

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all Quality Assurance activities during the assigned 2nd or 3rd shift , ensuring products meet regulatory standards and company specifications.

• Supervise and mentor QA Technicians and line personnel, providing training on proper testing procedures, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and food safety protocols.

• Enforce and monitor compliance with critical food safety programs, including HACCP, SQF/BRC, and internal quality systems.

• Investigate quality and food safety issues, root cause analysis, and implement effective corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs).

• Manage pre-operational and operational sanitation inspections, ensuring compliance before production starts.

• Maintain accurate documentation and records related to quality checks, testing, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or a related technical field is required.

• 1-3 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control, preferably within the Food, Beverage, or CPG Manufacturing industry.

• Must be flexible and willing to work a 2nd or 3rd shift schedule.

• Basic knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards (SQF or BRC experience is a plus).

• Strong leadership potential and excellent communication skills to effectively train and motivate a shift team.
