About the Position

Registered Nurse (RN – General, Dialysis, Mental Health) – 

Location: Grafton, OH 44044
Hours: 40 hours per week
Duration: Minimum 3 months (with potential extension)
Schedule: Must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekdays and weekends as needed

Position Summary

Seeking experienced Registered Nurses to provide comprehensive nursing care in a structured healthcare setting. The RN will deliver direct patient care, manage acute and chronic conditions, respond to emergencies, and support interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients in a facility setting
• Observe, assess, and document patient symptoms, reactions, and progress
• Conduct nursing rounds and monitor vital signs
• Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and immunizations
• Respond to medical emergencies and participate in code response teams
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform specialized procedures as needed, including:
  • IV therapy
  • Dialysis
  • Wound care
  • Oxygen therapy
  • Blood transfusions
  • Tube feeding
  • Catheterization
  • Suctioning
  • Phlebotomy
  • CPR
• Maintain accurate documentation of medications, treatments, and patient status
• Monitor and manage controlled medications and inventory
• Assist physicians with patient evaluations
• Participate in staff training, orientation, and quality improvement activities
• May provide guidance or supervision to LPNs and support staff as assigned

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Ability to work in a secure and structured environment
• Strong assessment, documentation, and clinical decision-making skills
