Travel Pharmacist Job

TLC Nursing Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced Pharmacist to manage medication distribution, ensure patient safety, and provide pharmaceutical expertise in various healthcare settings. Responsibilities
- Dispense prescription medications accurately while verifying legality and appropriateness.
- Educate patients and healthcare professionals about drug usage, dosages, and interactions.
- Monitor patient reactions and intervene in adverse drug events when necessary.
- Maintain regulatory compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws.
- Review medication orders for accuracy, clinical appropriateness, and potential interactions.
- Collaborate with medical teams across various facilities to optimize patient outcomes.
- Adjust to various pharmacy systems and support staff in diverse clinical settings.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Pharmacist license in the practicing state(s).
- Bachelor’s or Doctor of Pharmacy degree (BSPharm or PharmD).
- Minimum 2 years of clinical pharmacy experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy, and patient counseling.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Willingness and ability to take on travel assignments as required.
