Job quick facts
- 10hr shifts — 7 days on, 7 days off block schedule
- Evening beeper call during the 7-day shift
- Coverage required every day including weekends
- 6 – 10 patients per shift with rounding on assigned patients
- Inpatient acute psychiatric unit
- 2 – 5 admissions per 24-hour call period
- Skills required: involuntary commitments, seclusion, restraint, pharmacotherapy
- BLS and PALS certifications required
