Lead Chef
Position: Lead Chef
Schedule: Dinner service, five days a week (closed Tuesday & Wednesday, major holidays off)
Overview: We’re seeking a Chef to lead the culinary direction of our dinner-only restaurant. You will craft a rotating menu that highlights fresh, locally sourced ingredients, blending creativity with consistency. This role is ideal for a chef passionate about seasonal cuisine and working closely with a small, dedicated kitchen team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and rotate seasonal menus showcasing local ingredients.
- Lead kitchen operations during dinner service, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Mentor and collaborate with the Lead Cook and assistant cooks.
- Maintain food safety standards and kitchen organization.
- Manage inventory and coordinate with local purveyors for the freshest ingredients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chef or Executive Chef in a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
- Leadership skills with the ability to train and inspire a small team.
- Commitment to maintaining food safety and high-quality standards.
