We are seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and execution of quality engineering practices across multiple large-scale teams. This role is pivotal to modernizing retail technology systems used by millions of customers daily, improving both customer experience and associate efficiency. You will collaborate closely with Account Managers and cross-functional engineering teams to shape testing strategies and deliver high-quality software to scale.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in quality engineering with progressive responsibility
• Proven leadership in defining and executing testing strategy across multiple teams or enterprise environments
• Proficiency with QA automation tools and frameworks, including Karate, Selenium, REST API testing, and JMeter
• Hands-on experience with test automation in Agile/DevOps environments and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to manage stakeholders and collaborate across cross-functional teams

Nice to Have

• Experience mentoring junior QA engineers or leading quality engineering initiatives
• Background in performance testing and advanced automation techniques
• Familiarity with cloud-based QA environments and testing at scale
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise applications in retail, finance, or similar industries

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable testing frameworks for functional and performance testing of retail applications
• Build and optimize test automation frameworks using Karate/BDD, Selenium, and API testing tools
• Collaborate across engineering squads, account managers, and stakeholders to align quality goals and delivery timelines
• Support modernization efforts by transitioning legacy systems to modern, customer-facing applications
• Create and execute performance testing and production validation strategies to ensure consistent, reliable customer experiences
• Identify and resolve production issues to maintain stability and reduce downtime
• Promote continuous improvement by introducing modern testing practices and tools
• Mentor junior QA engineers, providing guidance on strategy, execution, and delivery
• Foster a culture of quality and knowledge sharing across teams
• Provide technical leadership in testing strategy and advocate for best practices throughout the QA process
