Construction Superintendent
Job Description
An employer is looking for a Construction Superintendent in New Albany, OH. You will primarily be providing vendor management, oversight, and construction efforts for a very large data center build out for one of the largest global technology companies. On a daily basis, you will lead daily coordination efforts with foremen in the electrical, mechanical, structural/ civil, and low-voltage areas. You will ensure crews are following approved drawings/ blueprints and walk the site throughout the day to monitor productivity, enforce safety, and coordinate quality checks. You will also oversee equipment installs such as switchgear, generators, cooling plants, etc. You will establish and lead data center standards around construction reviews, RFIs, redundancy/ reliability, etc. and provide daily/ weekly reporting for related vendors/ leadership. Additional tasks will include coordinating with commissioning agents for load bank testing, power-up sequences, and verify systems are installation- complete before turnover and all related QA/ QC work.

Skills and Requirements
10+ years experience in Construction Superintendent rolesSeasoned background in data center or telecom OSP/ ISP construction/ builds
Strong background in construction site scheduling, planning, and resourcing
Experience overseeing large scale construction initiatives and utilizing fluke testers
Experience with construction management software/ tools and MS Office
Well versed with safety standards, quality, and leadership
Scheduling/ coordinating with 3rd party vendors (Construction, Power, Low voltage, Engineering, etc.)
Prior experience managing teams of at least 50+ direct reports Military background
Autocad experience
