Spa Lavender is seeking a professional, reliable, and guest-focused Licensed Massage Therapist to join our growing team. We are looking for therapists who are passionate about wellness, committed to providing exceptional guest experiences, and motivated to build long-term client relationships in a luxury spa environment. The ideal candidate combines strong technical skills with professionalism, consistency, and a warm bedside manner. Therapists at Spa Lavender are expected to deliver high-quality services while contributing positively to team culture and overall spa success. Key Responsibilities
Guest Experience & Service Excellence
- Provide professional massage services tailored to each guest’s needs and preferences.
- Perform thorough consultations and recommend appropriate treatments and enhancements.
- Create a calm, relaxing, and welcoming environment for every guest.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, guest care, and confidentiality.
- Build strong client relationships to encourage retention and repeat bookings.
- Arrive prepared and on time for all scheduled appointments.
- Perform massage services including relaxation, therapeutic, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, and other spa modalities offered by Spa Lavender.
- Maintain accurate and timely treatment notes and client documentation.
- Recommend service upgrades, enhancements, memberships, and wellness plans when appropriate.
- Follow all sanitation, hygiene, safety, and infection-control protocols.
- Ensure treatment rooms remain clean, organized, and properly stocked throughout shifts.
- Communicate professionally and respectfully with front desk staff, therapists, estheticians, and management.
- Assist in maintaining smooth daily operations and guest flow.
- Participate in team meetings, trainings, and continuing education opportunities.
- Support spa promotions, events, and membership initiatives when needed.
- Follow company policies regarding attendance, scheduling, professionalism, and workplace conduct.
- Current Ohio Massage Therapy License in good standing required.
- Previous spa or clinical massage experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, body mechanics, and massage techniques.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to customize treatments based on guest needs and comfort levels.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
- Evening and weekend availability preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive massage movements.
- Ability to lift, bend, stretch, and move throughout the workday.
- Strong physical stamina and proper body mechanics required.
- Maintain professional appearance and hygiene standards at all times.
