JOB DESCRIPTION:**
- Review tooling after the production run to decide what work needs to be accomplished
- Sharpen tooling as needed
- Make new sections as needed
- Clean tooling after each production run
- Create spare sections as needed
- Read prints from Engineering to create blocks for new tooling /repairs/prototypes
- Build new tooling for customers based on required design
- Complete Engineering changes as required by customer demands
- Train and develop apprentices as needed
- Aid in keeping equipment in the toolroom and Pressroom running effectively
**
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
- High school diploma or GED
- Good Mechanical Aptitude
- Journeyman card or 6 years' experience working on tooling
- Excellent communication skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Prior experience working with basic toolroom equipment
- CNC and EDM programming a plus
**
Wage: * $27.00/hour *-** Hourly rate based on experience
**
