Warehouse Lead
As a Warehouse Lead, you'll oversee warehouse staff, coordinate daily operations, and ensure that all materials and products are handled, stored, and shipped according to company standards. You'll be the go-to person for problem-solving and process improvements on the warehouse floor.
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, and shipping
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse team members
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Monitor inventory accuracy and coordinate cycle counts
- Coordinate with production and planning teams to prioritize shipments
- Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness standards
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed
- Prepare shipping documentation and manage logistics coordination
- Troubleshoot issues and implement process improvements
- Leadership Experience: 2+ years in a warehouse supervisory or lead role
- Warehouse Expertise: Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping processes
- Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment
- Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and other departments
- Problem-Solving: Quick thinking and practical solutions to operational challenges
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of warehouse experience in a manufacturing environment
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain)
- SAP or warehouse management system experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions Strong organizational and time management skills
Physical Demands:
This position requires frequent walking, standing, lifting, and operation of warehouse equipment. Must be able to work in a manufacturing warehouse environment, sometimes in inclement weather, and consistently wear required PPE.
