Joseph Volkswagen has an opening for a Qualified Customer Service Assistant. You will be one of the friendly faces that interacts with our loyal customer base. This position requires a customer first mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. This is a perfect job for someone looking for career advancement opportunities once a profound understanding of Automotive Service and Parts operations occurs.
Responsibilities Include but Not Limited To:
- Greet customers as they arrive for service and maintenance needs for their vehicle.
- Properly prepare vehicles for Technician Service / Repairs:
- Vacuum driver’s front carpet / driver’s front seat.
- Insert paper floor mat to prevent Technician dirty footprints.
- Place plastic seat cover over driver’s seat.
- Clean windshield inside and out.
- Perform car wash / hand dry vehicle (with provided towels or water blade).
- Park vehicle and initial the repair order that cleaning process was performed.
- Check in with customers who are waiting at the dealership. Ask them if they would like any coffee, water, or a snack. Also ask if they would like an update on their vehicle. If so, work with the Service Advisor responsible for getting the update to the customer.
- Escort the customer to their completed vehicle. Engage with the customer and thank them for their business and remove the seat protector / paper floor mat in front of them. Let the customer know that their vehicle was cleaned prior to them receiving it.
- Make outbound phone calls for special order parts arrivals / service scheduling.
- Make outbound phone calls for customer satisfaction purposes post service completion.
