Occupational Therapist Job Details

• Position: Locum Tenens Occupational Therapist (Travel/Contract)
• Healthcare Setting: Rehabilitation – Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) preferred
• Location: Oklahoma City, OK 73119 (Oklahoma healthcare jobs)
• Start Date: July 30, 2025
• End Date: October 29, 2025
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shifts
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts
• Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1620 - $1660
• Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours per week (minimum guaranteed)
• Expected Hours: 36 hours per week (typical schedule)

Occupational Therapist Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Oklahoma (Oklahoma OT license required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist (new grads and experienced OTs welcome; SNF experience preferred)
• Certification in Rehabilitation Therapy
• Resume and license verification required
• Three professional references
• Comprehensive background checks (county, federal, multi-state, sex offender, HHS/OIG, GSA, SAM, Oklahoma state with fingerprints)
• Social Security Number trace
• 1 Step PPD or Quantiferon, or proof of positive PPD and chest X-ray
• COVID-19 test within 72 hours prior to start date (results within 48 hours prior to start)

Occupational Therapist Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with physical, emotional, or developmental impairments to enhance daily living skills
• Develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans and set measurable goals for patient progress
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate clinical records in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and strategies for continued progress at home
