Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position requiring an active OH or compact license and a minimum of 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Tele unit
• Potential to float to other units for the same patient population, including an ED
• Day/night rotating schedule with 12-hour shifts (7:00am–7:30pm or 7:00pm–7:30am)
• 3x12-hour shifts per week
• Shift rotation may be required based on operational needs of the facility
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Med/Surg Tele
• Minimum 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience (travel experience accepted)
• A copy of your Driver's License and Social Security Card are required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments are completed during orientation; a passing score on both is required
• Must be available to work at least every other holiday
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
