$1,000 Sign on bonus. Half paid after 90 days of employment and the other half paid after 6 months of employment

Reliable Electric is a reputable, well-established electrical contractor (80+ years in business) and is currently seeking a lead service electrician to join our growing residential department.

We are looking for candidates that have 7+ years residential experience, along with 5+years running a service van.
Will consider commercial service experience as well.
Ideal candidates will be based out of the Dayton, OH area.
Responsibilities:
- Perform electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs for residential properties.
- Repair and replace electrical panels, outlets, wiring, and branch circuits.
- Handle service upgrades, rewiring projects, and implement energy-efficient solutions (including smart home technology).
- Use testing tools (multimeters, circuit testers, thermal imaging) to ensure safe and effective results.
- Communicate technical issues clearly to customers and provide reliable, safety-focused solutions.
- Maintain professional appearance and demeanor, resolving customer concerns efficiently.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of residential service experience and expert-level troubleshooting skills.
- Strong knowledge of NEC, local electrical codes, and safety standards.
- Proficiency with electrical testing tools and ability to perform complex rewiring projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Skills/Training:
- Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills
- Strong knowledge of code
Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check. Reliable transportation and hand/power tools are a must along with a valid drivers license.
