Strategic Planning Product Owner III

As a Strategic Planning Product Owner III within PNC's Data and Automation Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Dallas, TX, or Birmingham, AL.
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to partner closely with our business and technical teams to drive the planning, delivery, and lifecycle management of machine learning solutions. This role will serve as a key liaison between stakeholders, ensuring ML models and platforms deliver measurable business value. The ideal candidate brings strong program management fundamentals, experience with cloud and DevOps environments, and the ability to influence without direct authority.
Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business stakeholders to identify, plan, and deliver machine learning solutions aligned to strategic objectives

Lead discussions with cross-functional teams on machine learning models, solution design, and expected business benefits

Track end-to-end machine learning model lifecycle, including development, deployment, performance, and realized value

Drive quarterly planning activities, roadmap development, and prioritization of ML initiatives

Manage program and project lifecycles, ensuring delivery against scope, schedule, and quality expectations

Establish and maintain strong relationships with technical teams, product owners, and business partners

Influence decision-making and alignment across teams without formal authority

Apply Agile delivery methods to manage work effectively and adapt to changing priorities

Leverage project and program governance practices to ensure alignment with organizational standards
Skills/Experience:
-
Knowledge of ITIL and project management methodologies (e.g., PMP)

Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation tools

Proven experience in managing program/project lifecycles and delivering cloud projects

Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or other Agile frameworks
Technology:

Cloud Platforms: AWS, Azure, & Google Cloud

Experience with Confluence & JIRA

Microsoft Office Suites (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.)

Owns the vision and definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the Customer. Ensures the Scrum Team(s) effort is concentrated on the right priorities based on business value.

Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to ensure a successful product for business objectives.

Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog.

Works closely with the Scrum Master(s) and development team(s), to ensure the right items are focused on during the development process. Primary point of contact for questions from the team(s) and is empowered to make decisions.

Pay Transparency
Base Salary: $65,000.00 - $139,150.00
Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
