As a Security Officer Badge Verification in Columbus, OH , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. At a healthcare location, you will support access control operations by verifying badges, monitoring entry points, and assisting visitors and staff with professionalism and care. This role combines visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication to help address security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor access to help support authorized entry and security-related protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other conditions that may require security-related attention.
• Prepare accurate reports of daily activities, access control events, and incident responses, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff and/or with site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
