Marketing Content and Social Media Specialist

OUCU Financial is seeking a creative and energetic Marketing Content and Social Media Specialist! The Marketing Content and Social Media Specialist will help grow our brand by creating compelling and engaging content across digital distribution channels. The successful candidate will create and manage an annual content calendar across all digital platforms, build email campaigns, workflow rules, and simple and complex journey maps within the marketing automation tool, all to improve the member experience. The Marketing Content and Social Media Specialist will own the execution of the OUCU brand across digital content platforms.

The pay for this position starts at $19.14 per hour, with relevant education and experience considered in determining the starting pay rate.
Duties Include:
- Create and execute our social media plan across all relevant social media channels.
- Write, create, and deploy social content. Stay on top of trends and analyze statistics, while targeting audiences and identifying opportunities.
- Create and manage email and digital content calendars.
- Write and build branded emails and content within marketing automation tools.
- Write, create, and deploy digital newsletters and other relevant digital content.
- Ensure automated campaigns, rules, and processes are running properly, ensuring email deliverability and performance.
- Travel to off-site locations to acquire content, interact with the public, create videos, and promote the credit union for use on social media.
- Attend and support marketing and credit union events.
- Monitor digital best practices, response time, and optimization to target new audiences and drive growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or equivalent education and experience.
- A minimum of five years of directly related experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree required. Candidates with a degree in Marketing will meet the experience requirement without additional experience.
- Experience and working knowledge of content marketing, including email, marketing automation, and social media platforms.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and a CMS (PHP or .NET)preferred.
- Driver's license required
