**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, offering support to staff, patients, and visitors as needed.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
+ Document and report any irregularities, such as property damage, unusual occurrences, or unauthorized individuals on site.
+ Collaborate with healthcare personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related concerns and maintain a secure environment.
+ Assist individuals on site by providing information or assistance as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
+ Remain alert to changes in the environment and follow post orders and protocols established for the location.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
+ Proof of high school diploma or GED is required.
+ Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
